Massachusetts Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturer Conduct Regulation (MA Regulation)

About the Course

The Massachusetts Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturer Conduct Regulation (MA Regulation) imposes a number of restrictions on pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing companies’ (including distributors’) interactions with health care practitioners with the intent to benefit patients, enhance the practice of medicine, and ensure that the relationship between pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturers and healthcare practitioners does not interfere with the independent judgment of healthcare practitioners. This employee training course provides an introduction to the MA Regulation. Topics in this eLearning course include: Applicability, Requirements, Data, Contracts/Audits/Meals, CME, Other Payments, and Disclosure Payments. After completing this online compliance training, learners will be able to recognize the provisions of the MA Regulation, 105 CMR 970.000, how to comply with new restrictions, and what some of the critical differences are between the MA Regulation and the AdvaMed and PhRMA Codes of Ethics.
