Lockout Tagout Affected

About the Course

A lockout/tagout procedure shuts down equipment, isolates it from its energy source, and prevents the release of potentially hazardous energy to protect employees during service and maintenance of machines and equipment. After completing this eLearning course, you will be able to identify the main types of energy, the procedures in an effective lockout/tagout program (including when it is required) and the roles and responsibilities of authorized versus affected employees. This online course will also teach you about the hazards associated with locked and tagged equipment. You should complete this training program before operating machines or working in areas where machines are used.
